THE SPATIAL VARIATIONS IN PAINTING

Abstract. The principle of perspective in painting requires space, but the space perspective must be in three dimensions, not only two-dimensioned. The three-dimensional perspectives must show how father than the distance it should be, how higher than the height it should be, how deeper than the depth it should be compared with the immediate survival. Its capacity must be broader, more general, larger and fuller. Space which is a stylized perspective is not only confined in three dimensions but also put in four dimensions to show, which adds a time dimension, such as painting the Futurism, Cubism or multi-dimensional murals. It took the uninterrupted continuity of space and time to assemble different things at different times, different sceneries. Otherwise it simultaneously presents out all these different things at different times, different sceneries at the same moment.
